A Letter to a Father about the Gift

As I write this letter to you, I want you to prepare yourself for what you are about to receive. What you are about to receive is just not a letter but understanding, and I hope that after you have gained this knowledge that you apply it to your very life because if you use what I am about to give, it will bless you tremendously. Also, after you have acquired this knowledge, you will never celebrate Christmas the same. The Gift that I am going to share with you comes from the book of Isaiah chapter 9 verses 6-7, and it reads:
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
If you were like me, I was taught to focus on Jesus, the savior. I grew up with the idea that we should celebrate the birth of Jesus and worship Jesus and bless Jesus and ALL of this is true, and we should do ALL of these things, but there is more. The thing I would like for you to focus on is the first three lines of verse 6 in the book of Isaiah chapter 9 it reads. “For unto us, a Child is born,” yes this is true, a child is born of the Virgin Mary. The next line reads “Unto us a Son is given” this is true as well, and you need to know Mary didn’t give the son she only birth the child God gave the son. Now that you have that insight I want you to pay close attention to what it states in the third line it says “And the government will be upon his shoulder” what is this government? This is why I am writing you this Letter to tell you that the government is God’s Kingdom the government is God’s government and God’s way of life and this is the good news. I want you to understand the reason for this Christmas Holiday is to celebrate the birth of the Savior Jesus, the redeeming blood that was shed from God’s given son Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God that came to Earth because of the birth of Jesus. The Kingdom of God is so important because in the book of Matthew chapter 6 verse 33 it reads: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.” It never says seek Jesus or to seek God it says to seek the kingdom. Another reason I write this letter is that I want you to experience the Kingdom of God on Earth. It is my prayer that we as a nation seek the Kingdom of God with everything in us. Merry Christmas.
