A Letter to a Conquering Father

There comes a day when you must fight, but this is not about a physical fight. The fight that I am referring to is a spiritual fight. Yeah, you know the fight when everything around you is trying its best to get you down. The fight for your peace of mind or your joy. The fight for everything around you to be still for just one second so that you can catch your breath. The fight of your life. Well, I come to tell you this, you don’t have to fight anymore because you have already conquered those things that tried to rise against you. Now I know you may be wondering how I am so sure that I have conquered the situation? According to Romans 8:35-37 it says “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” I would like for you to concentrate on the part of the scripture that says “Nay IN all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” The word of God lets me know that while we are IN the situation, notice it doesn’t say after the situation, but IN it we are more than conquerors. That part of the scripture alone should get you excited but if that doesn’t get you excited maybe this will. We are MORE than conquerors. If the word of God states that we are MORE than conquerors that mean we not only win but we win in a major way. My prayer for you is that you keep slaying the spiritual giants in life. Don’t forget your armor (Ephesians 6:11-18).
